Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The sooner the better! We know it will require planning to attend our wedding, so if you know you plan on being there before we send out the Formal Invitations, let us know by RSVP'ing on the Schedule page. WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!

Question

When should I submit my Deposit and when is the final payment due?

Answer

If you plan on attending the wedding, and know which dates you will travel, we suggest putting the $150/per person deposit down as soon as possible to lock in the nightly rates. You must submit your Rooming Form the same day you submit the deposit. You can find more information about the rooming form, submitting the deposit, and nightly rates on the "Travel" page. *The rooming form and deposits are in 2 separate links on the Travel website (www.coldironsincabo.com). Once the rooming form has been submitted you will be prompted to submit the deposit. Unfortunately, the price of the room package and deposit DO NOT pre-populate, you will need to manually total the room/per person/per night rate. The deposit is $150/per person.* The final resort payment is due on February 26, 2019.

When and How should I book my Flight?

Answer

We suggest downloading an app such as “Hopper” to watch flight prices and determine the best time to book depending on your departure airport. Departure Flights on Thursday May 2nd, 2019 if you are able. Returning Flights on Sunday May 5th, 2019. Of course, everyone is welcome to come before or stay after these suggested dates- that’s just when the wedding fun is happening! :)

Is there a dress code?

Beach Semi - Formal So, dress to impress, but also dress for the elements (sun, sand and water). Though we will be on the Cliffside Terrace there is the chance we will go to the beach for photos. Anything you'd wear to a nice restaurant on a summer night is appropriate. He should wear: A collared shirt, linen, khaki, or dress pants and close-toed shoes. Suit is not required, please be as casual as you would like without wearing denim or sandals :) She should wear: A semi-formal summer sundress with flat sandals. The ceremony and reception will be on flat ground (not sand) so heels are possible.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your Save the Date/Invitation indicates "Family" you should bring the little ones, but don't feel obligated if you want to use this as a child free vacation! Any child 2 and under will travel free but, when you fill out your "rooming form" you will still need to add the child's name and birthday for the resort but you do not need to pay the $150 deposit for them. Children over the age of 2 will be counted as a resort guest and will require the deposit and nightly rates. If you believe we might have missed a little one when sending your Save the Date, please email us.

Can I bring a date?

Oh la la. In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation or save the date. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!
