Grab your passports and pack your bags, we’re headed to Cabo!

Chad and I met the day he interviewed for a job at Darryl Andrews State Farm, where I had been working for a couple of years. I remember how nervous (but dapper) he looked in his multi-color striped tie, waiting to go back for his interview. Just because this was the first time I’d “officially” met Chad, it doesn’t mean I didn’t know who he was. A little background is that Chad and I both graduated from Fayetteville High School, him in 2005 and myself in 2008, meaning we missed the chance to meet at school. When Darryl asked me, “What do you know about Chad Coldiron?” I responded with “Well, I know he was a lifeguard at the Country Club when I used to hang out there,” then proceeded to turn bright red and plead to Darryl not to share that as we both laughed at my answer. Luckily, he got the job and we began working together in 2015. Our work friendship grew, but neither of us knew what was to come. One day, Chad IM’ed me on Skype and asked what my plans were for the weekend, I don’t remember how I responded but he then asked if I wanted to go out to his friend’s lake house with him. To Chad’s surprise, I immediately said yes. Y’all… we have been attached at the hip ever since. 3 years later, Chad proposed to me on a Wednesday night after a long day at work. He had prepared the most beautiful meal and when I turned around he was down on one knee changing our lives forever! This time, not to Chads surprise, I immediately said yes! We both have a love for spending time with our family and friends and we always have something on the calendar. Despite our schedules this guy takes the time to open my car door, put towels in the dryer so I will have a hot towel when I get out of the shower, and frankly takes care of everything around the house. HOW DID I GET SO LUCKY? We can’t wait to have our closest friends and family in Mexico with us to celebrate our love.
