If you're renting a vehicle (or book a tour with transportation) we highly recommend checking out the ruins of Uxmal. They are incredible! Note: Entrance fee is cash only (Mexican Pesos) so plan accordingly. Guided English tour is extra fee.

Apoala - great to sit outdoors in the plaza Arcano Casa Tho - concept store that is great for coffee, lunch, dinner, or just a drink Cigno - boutique hotel that does a beautiful dinner in the courtyard Hunik Ku’uk Lupita - great casual taco spot Manjar Blanco Matilda Micaela el Mar - features Mérida specialties like octopus and pork Museo de Gastronomia Nectar Oliva Enoteca Oliva Patio Pancho Maiz - great for breakfast Petanca - grab a bite, play games, and chat with locals Picheta Pizza Core - casual but really good pizza spot run by two lovely Italian guys Ramiro - amazing food but closes at 6pm Sallon Gallos - great for dinner or drinks. Cool space with art and live music San Bravo Vana Wine Bar - new spot in beautiful redone house
