Water's Edge Resort & Spa
Ethan and I wanted our special weekend to feel like a vacation for all of our guests! The Resort has so many wonderful things to offer on top of breathtaking views and amenities. Enjoy some downtime laying on the private beach or by the pool overlooking the Long Island Sound. Have a drink at one of the resorts multiple bars, grab a bite at one of the restaurants, or a coffee at the Starbucks in the main hotel. You may even find people enjoying a few lawn games on a beautiful summer afternoon. Water's Edge Spa is the perfect place to take some time to yourself and enjoy a massage, facial, or nail treatment (check the website for additional spa info and booking). You do not need to be a guest of the hotel to utilize the restaurants, bars, or spa! These are open to the public. The beach and pools are for hotel guests only. Saybrook Point Resort & Marina
Whether you are staying here for the weekend, or just want to visit for the day, Saybrook Point is a beautiful place to spend some time. The resort offers a spa, restaurant and bars, and two year-round heated pools all set in the gorgeous marina where the Connecticut River meets the Long Island Sound.

Chamard Vineyards
Part of the Connecticut Wine Trail, and nestled in the shoreline town of Clinton, visit Chamard Vineyards for dinner at the Bistro or a glass of wine in the Tasting room. Stony Creek Brewery
Stony Creek Brewery, about a 30 minute drive from the Resort, makes progressive craft beers that are classified as an “Aggressively Laid-Back Beer.” Located in Branford, CT, Stony Creek is a great place for local craft beer tasting. Directly on the Branford River waterfront the brewery is open for tastings and tours.
Lyman Orchards & Golf Course
Lyman Orchards, now in its 281st year, is just under a 40 minute drive from Water's Edge. At this family-favorite destination you can Pick Your Own, go to the Farm market, and play beginner and championship golf on one of Connecticut's best public golf courses. Set on 1,100 scenic acres in central Connecticut, a destination for great food and wholesome family fun.
Mystic, Connecticut
Mystic is the quintessential charming New England town with some amazing shops, restaurants, and waterfront areas to explore. It is home to two of Connecticut's most visited attractions - the Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium. About a 30 minute drive from Westbrook, Mystic is a lovely day trip and offers a great time for the whole family.
