Kevin and Cristina met in Las Vegas in the summer of 2018. Cristina was with her friends and Kevin with his when they both attended the same pool party at Encore Beach Club to see Major Lazer perform. Cristina recalls seeing a very cute guy with green eyes standing behind her and Kevin took notice in her as well. Not having said a word to each other, Cristina was on her way out after the show when someone grabbed her arm. It was the green eyed cute guy. He introduces himself as Kevin and asks her for her number. Not thinking much of it, she gives it to him. They saw each other again that night at Omnia Nightclub and danced the night away. After this, they had no reason to keep in contact, but for some reason they did. Five months later, they started what would be a year and a half long, long distance relationship.

After 1.5 years, Kevin and Cristina were ready for the big move. In June 2020, Cristina made the move to New Jersey. Although she was extremely sad to leave her parents back in her home state as empty nesters, she knew she was meant to be in New Jersey with Kevin. Although she dreams of going back to California permanently one day, Cristina loves being on the East Coast, especially in New York City where the two of them have made the best memories.

Kevin chose to propose on their 5 year anniversary which happened to be the same day as New York City's first snowfall in over a year! Cristina had a hunch and just knew "THIS. IS. IT." She knew the day she was waiting for had finally come. The two had gone into NYC, and Kevin took her shopping. After abruptly telling her they had to go somewhere else immediately, she knew what was coming. Next to the store was a building, while standing in front of the building, someone opens the door for them and asks if they are there to see the view. After an awkward elevator ride of Cristina catching on that they are going to "see the view", she knew the time had come. Kevin opens a door that leads to a balcony with a spectacular view of the Empire State Building. Candles lined the walkway and the snow started falling. Kevin got down on one knee and Cristina saw her dream ring that they both designed. It was truly picture perfect and they felt like they were in a movie. Could a proposal be more beautiful?
