We recommend flying directly into Denver International Airport (DEN). It is a 45 minute drive from the airport to Chautauqua Dining Hall or anywhere in Downtown Boulder. Rental cars and Uber / Lyft are readily available (see notes below).

Chautauqua’s charming collection of historic cottages and lodges are nestled beneath the iconic Boulder Flatirons. The cottages were constructed between 1899 and 1954 to replace the tents used during Chautauqua’s first summer season. Enjoy the great outdoors with front door access to over 40 miles of open space hiking trails or take in the sunrise and sunset from your porch. These are onsite where our wedding ceremony and reception will be held, which will make for great access both to the outdoors and to the weekend's festivities.

Rental Car Information

While a rental car is not necessary to get around Boulder, it might be nice to have a car if you'd like to get out and explore the surrounding area. Expect to take a short shuttle from the airport to any rental car provider.

Ride Share Information

Ride share via Uber or Lyft is easy to book from Denver Airport and anywhere around Boulder. Costs to / from the airport range from $40-90 depending on surge pricing at a given time of day. Intra-Boulder rides cost anywhere from $7.50-$15 depending on distance.

RTD Bus

RTD SkyRide buses depart from Denver Airport Station - Gate 8 on an hourly basis throughout the day and into the late evening. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and drops passengers at Downtown Boulder Station (last stop), just off of Pearl St., a short Uber/Lyft ride to Chautauqua and local hotels. Westbound schedule is found via ROUTE AB1: BOULDER / DENVER AIRPORT (buses do not leave on the hour so please see schedule for timing). Airport fare is $10.50/pp from anywhere within the RTD service area. Cash is required when boarding, or you can download the RTD app to purchase tickets online.
