Things To Do

We’re so excited to share some of our favorite spots in the area with you! If you have some extra time, we highly recommend taking a day trip to Boston—it’s a fantastic city with so much to offer. Feel free to reach out if you’d like more recommendations or need any help planning your visit!

Acorn Street

Acorn Street, Boston, MA 02108

Be sure to visit Acorn Street while you're in Boston! Located in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, this beautiful cobblestone street is where Jonathon proposed, making it a very special place for us. Known as one of the prettiest streets in America, it's full of historic charm and is a wonderful spot to explore during your visit.

Newbury Street

Newbury Street, Boston, MA

A fun shopping area in downtown Boston. So many fun shops and coffee shops! Check out 'Amorino' for petal gelato!

Carrie Nation Cocktail Club

11 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02108

One of the couple's favorite bars! The back room is a speakeasy and it is worth a visit!

Sam Adams Downtown Boston Taproom

60 State Street, Boston, MA 02109

A great place to have a few drinks and hangout! We love customizing our own beer flights when we go:) This is right by Faneuil Hall so definitely a good place to be!

Beacon Hill Books & Cafe

71 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02114

If you know Cassie, you know she loves exploring fun coffee shops. This adorable spot in Beacon Hill is a book store and coffee shop/restaurant. Reservations book up quickly so as soon as OpenTable allows you to (30 days prior), make reservations! This is the place the couple went after taking engagement pictures!

North End

Boston, MA

You cannot come to Boston without getting pizza or a pasta dish in North End. There are a lot of famous ones but the lines are typically long and not many of them take reservations. Start looking now to scope out where you want to go! P.S. If you're in this area, a Florentine cannoli from Bova's Bakery is a necessity, as well as a pistachio martini from Modern Pastry - Underground!

Freedom Trail

Freedom Trail, Boston, MA

Boston is only about 30 miles north of the venue. If you are looking to tour the city, the freedom trail is a great option! If you are looking to not pay for parking in downtown Boston, one good option would be to park at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA and take the Forest Hills orange line T to downtown. The parking garages in Assembly row are free for the first 3 hours!

Boston Duck Tours New England Aquarium Departure Location

1 Central Wharf, Boston, MA 02110

You need to do a duck boat tour if you will be in the Boston area. A great way to explore the city!

The Red Lion Inn

71 South Main Street, Cohasset, MA 02025

Our venue has a restaurant on the main level. Come sip on a cocktail on the patio or by the fire and enjoy some delicious food!

Old Scituate Lighthouse

100 Lighthouse Road, Scituate, MA 02066

A beautiful lighthouse about 15 minutes from the venue! Stroll and shop local boutiques in Cohasset Village, Scituate Harbor, or Hingham Square. Another option is to take a tour of the Old Scituate Lighthouse.

Split Rock Beer Garden

12 Parking Way, Cohasset, MA 02025

For a laid-back local experience, don’t miss Split Rock Beer Garden in Cohasset, MA.
