Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO)

Reno is the closest Airport to Palisades Tahoe (~45 min drive). Guests flying to RNO are encouraged to rent a car in advance as Ubers/Lyfts are not available in the area. There is a shuttle service that takes you to Olympic Valley and Tahoe City ($50-$100/person each way depending on the number of people on the reservation). https://www.northlaketahoeexpress.com/routes

San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), and Sacramento (SMF) Airports

There are three alternative airports in the Bay Area that are between 2-4 hours driving distance to Palisades Tahoe; San Francisco International Airport, Oakland International Airport, and Sacramento International Airport.

Palisades Tahoe Lodge Rentals are privately owned condominiums for rent and are a quick 5 minutes walking distance to the Village and wedding events.

Airbnb & VRBO

If you'd like to stay with friends & family in a house, we encourage you to look at properties available on Airbnb & VRBO. If you want to be close to the ceremony and reception, look for rentals in Olympic Valley, CA near the Village at Palisades Tahoe. If you'd like to stay closer to the lake, we recommend looking for rentals in Tahoe City and Dollar Point. Kings Beach and Incline Village are also two of our favorite locations on the lake but they are located further from Palisades (~30 min drive).
