Sister of the Bride Brenna is Callie's little sister and best friend for life. Brenna occasionally kidnaps Callie to hang out for a few hours on the weekend to gossip and catch up with her sister. She has witnessed (and judged) Callie and Carter's relationship over the years. Even though she often picks on Carter we know she likes and approves of him (but would never openly admit it).
Davis Claiborne
Best Man
Brother of the Groom Davis has been Carter's go-to guy for companionship, brotherhood, and bad jokes since Day One -- literally. The brothers opted to live together throughout college, which allowed Davis to whoop Carter frequently in Super Smash Brothers. On the flip side, though, it means Davis was subjected to more of Carter's bad vinyl than anyone else, including Callie.
Marlene Molina
Bridesmaid
Best Friend of the Bride Marlene and Callie met in college 5 years ago while studying abroad in Poland and quickly became friends over many wine nights together. They went on to live together for a year after they returned to the States. Marlene was the first person Callie told about Carter, and she offered Callie fashion advice for their first date. She has been our biggest supporter over the years and Callie's wedding party would not be complete without her.
Matt Webster
Groomsman
Best Friend of the Groom Matt and Carter met as trumpets in NC State's marching band and bonded over their shared interests, including cars, engineering, and, most of all, NC State athletics. The two finished their Mechanical Engineering degrees together at NC State while living together; there, they kept Davis up more times than he'd have liked "studying" or just hanging out.
Kiley Eek

Best Friend of the Bride Callie met Kiley almost 3 years ago when Kiley became the 3rd roommate in a house Callie lived in after college. After Callie accepted that she would be living with a Midwesterner they quickly became friends and had many movie nights together. Callie abandoned her (moved out to live with Carter) and Kiley adopted a cat named Kyna who provides chaos and entertainment when Callie comes over to visit.
Cameron Michael
Groomsman
Best Friend of the Groom Cameron and Carter also met as trumpets in the NC State band; both were there to watch sports and hold a trumpet, in that order. The two have bonded most over their seemingly-endless ability to talk football -- often boring their respective girlfriends in the process. The pair can also frequently be found trying out a new Raleigh brewery or bar.
Holden Carroll
Pitmaster
Chef of the Evening Holden and Carter met through mutual friends, and though they knew each other for a long time, have bonded most over their shared love of cooking barbeque. The two entered their first local competition together in August 2023 and, despite some "complications," came away with second place. Hopefully the Trenton Piggly Wiggly is just the start of a successful duo of pitmasters.
Miranda Smith

Making Things Official Carter met Miranda in the NC State marching band and became fast friends due to their love of all things North Carolina. In the middle of their Fall 2019 Exams, Carter, Miranda, and three others took to the state's byways and visited 18 of the stops on the NC Historic BBQ Trail, and have done dozens of other trips since. Miranda registered herself as an officiant on a whim on a random night several years ago, and is excited to take advantage of the opportunity.
