FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 21st, 2024!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony to allow yourself time to park and be seated.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We do not have a strict dress code but we do ask that you dress respectfully and wear clothes that will be comfortable for an outdoor wedding in the fall. Please note the ceremony will take place in a pasture; shoes with thin heels may not be ideal. Our colors will be burgundy, burnt orange, dusty blue, and forest green. Feel free to match our color theme if you feel so inclined! But -- please do not feel obligated to match the color scheme. And please, no white dresses.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, while the reception will be indoors. Weather in the area is normally in the 70s during the day and 50s in the evening. The ceremony area in particular can be somewhat breezy.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have provided hotel suggestions in the travel section of our website and are working to secure a group rate!

Question

Where do I park for the ceremony?

Answer

We will have signs indicating a designated parking area for the ceremony. If the parking area fills up, please feel free to also park along the shoulder of Palmer Road. Please do not drive up the driveway unless you have been directed to do so.

Question

Where do I park for the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held in downtown Waynesville in an area with a variety of parking options. There is public parking along the street, as well as public lots on both sides of The Lineside. The lot behind The Lineside can be accessed by turning down the alley located between The Green Room and The Funky Emporium.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not have any transportation to or from the ceremony or reception.

Question

Food served and allergy requests

Answer

We will be offering pork barbecue with coleslaw, mac and cheese, butter beans, and cornbread, with banana pudding and wedding cake for dessert. We will also be preparing a limited number of barbecued chickens for guests not wishing to eat pork. Please feel free to reach out to either Callie or Carter with additional allergen information if necessary.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

The reception will have six selections of beer on draft, as well as red and white wine; unfortunately, mixed drinks will not be available. There will be an open bar.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Most plus-ones should be included on the RSVP list already; if you do not see your partner listed, please feel free to reach out.

Question

How Will You Be Capturing The Memories?

Answer

I'm so glad you asked! We will be hiring a professional photographer to capture our ceremony -- please keep your phones away and on silent for this portion of the wedding. However, we would love for you to be involved in capturing our reception! We will be creating and sharing a Google Photos album which you are invited to upload any photos or videos you capture during the event. There will be QR codes throughout the reception space for quick and easy access to the photo album. So if you see a fun moment, please capture and share it with us!

For all the days along the way
