He put a ring on it!!

In July of 2018, Carrie was working at Journeys when Robert came in shopping for new shoes. Carrie went over to help him find the shoes he was looking for. After a flirtatious conversation, we exchanged numbers, once Carrie finished her shift we met at Denny's where we sat and talked for hours. We eventually began dating in August of 2018, fast forward to June 2020 Robert deployed with the Army for an agonizing 11 months he finally returned. Carrie and Robert planned a vacation to North Carolina. We arrived on July 14, exactly 3 years from the day we met. While sitting on Sunset beach -a beach Carrie had visited regularly since she was a kid- watching the sunset Robert suggested a small photoshoot where he then dropped down to one knee and asked Carrie to marry him.
