Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for all of our wedding events is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Perfect summer days - mid 70s to mid 80s. Make sure to pack sunscreen and shades!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be located at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Salisbury, MD (~30 minutes from OC). The reception will be located at Ocean Pines Yacht Club in Ocean Pines, MD (a 5 minute drive from OC).

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both located indoors and will be air conditioned.

How do we get to the ceremony?

Answer

For your convenience, we have arranged for a shuttle (coach bus) to transport guests to and from the ceremony. Pickup: Saturday, June 11th at 2pm, Residence Inn Marriott Ocean City After the ceremony, the shuttle will bring guests back to Ocean Pines Yacht Club for the reception.

If we choose to skip the ceremony, how do we get to the reception?

Answer

If you choose to skip the ceremony that’s totally fine! We understand that it’s a lot of travel and would love to celebrate with you at the reception. For your convenience, a small shuttle will be available for transfer to the reception, departing the Residence Inn Marriott Ocean City at 5pm. The shuttle will be available to transfer guests between the reception and hotel for the duration of the reception event. Enjoy the evening - no driving necessary!

What’s the best way to get home at the end of the night?

Answer

We have arranged for a shuttle to transport guests back to the Residence Inn Marriott Ocean City as needed for the duration of the reception. The last scheduled pickup from Ocean Pines Yacht Club is 10:30 pm. If you decide to stay and party longer at the Yacht Club, there are plenty of options like Uber and Lyft available to avoid driving. If you drove to the reception, you are welcome to leave your car in their lot overnight free of charge.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Yes! Please join us for a Welcome Cocktail Party at Seacrets Distilling Company Friday, June 10th from 6-8p. The bride and groom also plan to hang in OC for the day on Friday so text us to find our latest location and join!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

We encourage all guests to use the plentiful shuttle options we have arranged! We want everyone to have a great (& safe) time. IF DRIVING TO CEREMONY & RECEPTION: There is ample free street and lot parking at Bethesda United Methodist Church. There is a large free parking lot at the reception location, Ocean Pines Yacht Club, that you are permitted to leave your car in overnight. IF USING SHUTTLE FOR CEREMONY & RECEPTION: Please plan to arrange for travel to the Residence Inn Marriott Ocean City. There is no parking available for individuals who are not hotel guests.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs. We can definitely accommodate but need to know ahead of time!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please postmark your RSVP cards by May 1st. You can also easily RSVP online by clicking 'RSVP' in the menu bar above!
