He bent the knee and she said yes!

It all started with an email from Caroline to Maikol asking him how she could join the FGCU Quidditch team. Shortly after they first met in person at a practice, they both became very close friends. Staying close friends no matter the hurdles that life threw at both of them, eventually Caroline fell quite in love with Maikol. Sadly Maikol was a little too dumb to see that for some time (He wrote this part, we promise), and it took a little longer than normal for them to start dating. They took the leap to date each other and since then they have constantly challenged each other to take risks together that have led them to the careers and dreams they have achieved today. From new friends, to best friends, to the love of each other's lives. Their adventure continues today all started by a simple email about a unique club.

Christmas 2018, the majority of the Waterman family and part of the Brito family set sail on the biggest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas. Caroline had planned the whole trip and when she got confirmation that Maikol and his family would be joining the festivities she knew that’s when he would pop the question. Not because it was Christmas, but because it would be their 4 year anniversary (Dec 26), both families would be together, and it was in a memorable location. It was the perfect time! Caroline had instructed everyone that presents and games would be held on December 24th right before dinner and the dress code would be Tacky Christmas attire. Everyone gathered in a private conference room aboard the ship and after singing Christmas carols, a round of White Elephant gifts, and the unraveling of a 10 pound saran wrap ball that had been stuffed with goodies it was time to clean up the room and head to dinner. Before anyone had the chance to move Maikol had asked everyone to hold on the cleaning because he wanted to thank Jim for all the opportunities he had given him. That is when Caroline knew it was happening, because Maikol is not a man of speeches but more of private conversation. There was a speech that went along with the proposal but Caroline does not remember a word of it. All that was running through her head was “Yes! Yes! Yes! It’s happening! Just ask!” According to Caroline’s family, she never actually said yes (probably because she said it in her head so many times), but we’re assuming she did or you would never have gotten the beautiful Save the Date and T.A.R.D.I.S. invitation that lead you to this wedding website.
