5:00 pm
Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
We'll be enjoying drinks and a casual barbecue dinner in the park right alongside one of June's two bodies of water, Gull Lake.
4:00 pm - 11:30 pm
Come in whatever you feel comfortable in. We’ll be fancied up, but there are no restrictions on how formal you need to be. Average temps in June Lake in Aug are in the mid-80s F (30 C), but the ceremony site will be about 10 degrees F (5C) cooler and temps will drop significantly at night. The reception will be indoors, but we would highly recommend bringing a warm layer for the end of the evening
The main event will be on June Mountain at a lovely old ski chalet. We’ll be asking guests to begin arriving at the June Mountain Ski Area at 3pm to be transported up the mountain for the ceremony starting at 4pm. Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour on the chalet’s terrace followed by a reception inside the chalet. Following dinner there will be dancing, general merriment, and some late-night snacks. The last chairlift off the mountain goes at 11:30pm. Oh yes, the chairlift! To get up to the chalet, you will take a chairlift – we’ll make sure you get a glass of bubbly to enjoy the ride. If little ones are small enough to be strapped on to you with a baby carrier they’re welcome to enjoy the ride as well, but if they’re too big to be strapped in and potentially too small to ride the lift or if you have any concerns about your ability to take the chairlift up, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll ensure you can get up the mountain by other means.
9:00 am - 11:00 am
Whatever you'll be traveling in, keep it comfy!
As you leave June Lake on Sunday morning, we would love for you to join us for a coffee and a little breakfast snack in the same park we'll be convening in on Friday evening. There will be shade and access to restrooms, but be sure to bring sunscreen! Feel free to drop in anytime between 9-11 before it gets too warm and we'll say one last hello and goodbye and HUGE thanks for celebrating with us.
