FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a black tie optional affair. Those opting for suits should wear a tie and jacket. Guests who plan to wear dresses are invited to wear something long, or a fancy cocktail dress. The venue veers on the more formal side. If you need inspiration, check out these examples - https://www.pinterest.com/leoramatana/black-optional-tie-wedding-examples/

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our wedding is an intimate affair, and therefore, rsvp only. We can only accommodate the guest(s) listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Date night on us! While we love your babies, this is an adult-only affair. We appreciate your willingness to make arrangements beforehand, as we are unable to make any exceptions. We can't wait to share this day with you!

Question

How do I communicate my dietary needs?

Answer

We will have three entree options: one of which will be fish and another vegan to accommodate halal guests/other dietary restrictions. Sides are served at the table, family style. If you have kosher needs, reach out to Carly.

Question

When is the earliest I can RSVP?

Answer

Now! ...or by August 20. xo

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

RSVP's not received by August 20 default to a "no" and cannot be changed after the fact, as we don't have the capacity to change our guest count after that date. Please note that we will not have extra plates or seats for anyone unexpected.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There is an almost unlimited amount of things to see && do (as well as amazing food to eat) in Chicago. You may want to arrange your stay around the neighborhoods you'd like to visit. The wedding will be in the south loop and we have a room block at the Hilton Palmer House, which is 5 min from the venue by car. Our block rate is $279/night. There are a limited number of rooms available in this block. If you'd like to book, please visit the "travel" page.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There are self-paid parking lots available around the venue, as well as street-metered parking available, but please pay attention to hourly limits on different signage. We recommend that guests, especially those who plan to drink, Uber or taxi to the wedding. Chicago public transport is also abundant downtown if you'd like to use it.
