Cousins by blood, friends by choice. Carli and Ruby have been inseparable since 1999. Ruby may live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, but she has always stood by Carli's side. Carli and Ruby have grown up together, and they think that God didn't make them sisters because one Evans woman couldn't handle them together! Their memories are endless together, whether it be their "Grand Ones" trips with Grandma and Grandpa, or giggles and sleepovers in Rapid City during Christmas time. Ruby really is like a little sister to Carli, and even though she isn't so little anymore, she'll always have a piece of Carli's heart. Having Ruby stand by her side on her wedding day is a dream come true!

November 27, 1993 was a special day for the Smith family - Sloane and Griffin became the best pair. Sloane is Griffin's twin sister, and one of Carli's future sister-in-laws! Sloane is currently living outside of Boston, Massachusetts, but Chicago always calls her home, and so does her love for her family!

Job's Daughters International brought Carli many lessons, some tribulations, but most importantly - Claire Margaret. Claire and Carli have been friends for over 10 years, and regardless of the distance between the two of them, their friendship picks up right where it left off. Claire has seen Carli through all of her big moments, so it's quite fitting that she stand by her side on the biggest day of her life so far!

Samantha and Carli go together like coffee for breakfast and a big glass of Merlot for dinner. They are two peas in a pod, and they have been that way since 2012! From breakups, to going away to college, to graduations, Samantha and Carli have experienced it all and cheered each other on every step of the way. If you were to look up "Thelma and Louise" in the dictionary, their pictures would pop up. Samantha is moving to Tacoma, Washington, but Chicago will always have her heart, as long as Carli is there!

Carli was born and raised in Brookfield, Illinois. In 2013, she packed up her life in Illinois and moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama with full suitcases and a heart with room to find her forever. During her time at the University of Alabama, Carli took several trips home, but her trip on September 13, 2015 turned out to be the best plane ride of her life. On that day, she met a cute Alabama student who had also been traveling home from Chicago - Griffin Smith. Though they took a few detours to Santiago, Chile & Houston, Texas & Chicago and back, they ended up right where they were meant to be - together. Carli cannot wait to say "I do" and marry her absolute best friend, her partner in crime, and the most amazing "cat daddy."

Griffin Smith was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Western Springs, Illinois (just a few miles from his bride). In elementary school, Griffin moved to Austin, Texas, and then moved to Powder Springs, Georgia for high school. Griffin was a dedicated lacrosse player who spent one year at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona before he made the best decision to attend the University of Alabama. Like Carli, Griffin made several trips home. Thank god for United Airlines connecting flights in Dallas on September 13, 2015! Griffin and Carli may have had a winding road, but their journey to forever is special and certainly unique. Griffin is excited to spend his life with Carli as his wife, but he may just be more excited to call Corazon his cat-daughter.

Lucinda Crispin

Lucinda and Carli have been friends since 2005. When they're together, the room is never short on giggles and mischief abounds. Carli and Lucinda have always supported each others highs and lows, and never fail to be each other's cheerleaders. Job's Daughters brought Carli and Lucinda together, but their friendship has spanned 15 years, several states, and many miles apart. Lucinda may be called Carli's "red headed step sister," but that doesn't make her any less special. Carli couldn't say "I do" without one of her longest friends by her side!

In 7th grade when Griffin moved to Powder Springs, GA, he met his future best friend Michael. Through the years, the two were inseparable and Griffin became like a third child to Lisa and Tim Smith - fitting that the boys share a last name! After Griffin's first year of college at Arizona State, Griffin visited Michael at Alabama and fell in love with the campus. Carli and Griffin owe a huge piece of their love story to that visit!

Jason is Carli's brother-from-another-mother. Jason's mother is Carli's godmother, and the mother of the bride's best friend since first grade. Jason and Carli have been like brother and sister since they were born. They sometimes fight like real brothers and sisters do, but they have always loved each other like they were flesh and blood! Since Carli and Griffin have started dated, Jason and Griffin have developed a bromance and bonded over cigars, bourbon, and poking fun at Carli. It is so special that Jason is a part of Carli and Griffin's wedding day.
