U.S. Space & Rocket Center
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama is a museum operated by the government of Alabama, showcasing rockets, achievements, and artifacts of the U.S. space program. It's AWESOME ya'll ... and GREAT for kids and adults! Advice: Get tickets in advance and do the bus tour going behind the scenes of NASA. You won't regret it!
Tennessee Aquarium
Jeff and I are both huge fans of aquariums. If you have time, it's so worth stopping here. They have two large buildings (one for salt water and one for fresh water). You will see lake monsters, alligators, sharks, jellyfish, and more! They also have some land animals and a beautiful butterfly room! It normally takes us about 3 hours to tour the entire facility. Oh .. did I mention they have a baby turtle hatchery!!
Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge
Guntersville State Park has fishing, camping, hiking, swimming, and more. It's a beautiful part of Alabama and worth stopping to see!
