Maid of Honor
Jessie and I have been friends since freshman year of high school. That's a decade long friendship! Over the years we have been through a lot with each other. She has been my conscious, in times when I was blind to the obvious answer. She describes herself as "unique", and it is this uniqueness that makes our bond grow stronger each day. I have my own kinda of "uniqueness" (which Jacob calls "Candaceisms") and it melds well with hers. I am constantly amused by her and always wondering what will happen next. Jessie reminds me of Haunter, who happens to be her favorite pokemon. Haunter is known to sneakily pull pranks and so is Jessie. Another thing they have in common is strong loyalty towards those they love.
Ashley Fugger
Bridesmaid
Ashley is one of my oldest friends. We met in first grade when my Kindergarten best friend moved away. She brought me happiness and friendship was I was sad and feeling lonely. Throughout this 20 year friendship she continues to do that. Our friendship is unlike any other I have or had before. Even when we hadn't seen in each in a while, due to life getting in the way, it was like we had seen each other just yesterday. Like Belle (from kingdom hearts), she goes above an beyond to help those she loves even if that means sacrificing her needs. Ashley finds the good in those who are hurting and putting their worse foot forward. She can't help but show those people the good they can't see in themselves. I love my, sister (through friendship) and am so lucky to have her as my bridesmaid.
Josh Nowaczyk
Best Man
Growing up Jacob and his brother Josh would always play every game together. If it was a one player game they would just take turns playing which the other watched. Whenever Jacob talks about this I am astounded by the amount of patience they both have and how strong their friendship/relationship is. I bonded with Josh mostly through Pokémon. Since we are both huge Pokémon fans, I thought it would be fitting to talk about how similar to Brock he is. Both are so kind, laid back and knowledgeable about such a large range of topics. Like Brock Josh is going off on his own new exciting adventure. Unlike him Josh has found the woman of his dreams and is getting married in November.
Becca Scalchas

Becca reminds me of Tenenbaum from Bioshock, both are the acting mother of a group of unique characters/people. Like Tenenbaum she is incredibly intelligent, unconventional in the best ways and passionate in fighting for those who can't fight for themselves. She is a role model for me and am amazing friend to Jacob. Jacob made many great friends at Purdue and Becca is one of them. They had many classes together in which they helped each other learn. Their friendship outgrew the classroom, soon they were playing video game with their group of friends and going out to dinner while I tried to keep up with all the computer talk.
Cory Dunagan

Cory is another of Jacob's Purdue Friends. Jacob and I having been playing a mobile kingdom hearts game with him for a while now. We bounce strategy ideas around and help each other when we can. Cory reminds me of goofy from kingdom hearts, which is both one of his and Jacob's favorite games series. Their commonalities include a great sense of humor, postivity and their distinctive laughs. One of the main reasons why I made this connection was because of how likable Cory is and how much he'll make you laugh.
