We got married on March 20th surrounded by the close friends and family who could make it to our little ceremony. However we didn't get to celebrate with all the important people in our lives so we hope to celebrate with you march 20th 2021! We will be re sending out invites and ask that you please RSVP again, for this event. We will still be doing a ceremony for those who didn't get to see the first one and so we can do the full special ceremony similar to what we originally planned.

Video games are such a huge part of our life together. As kids we both loved video games, and its something that has never gone away. In fact our love for them as grown stronger. Each one tells a different story, lets you see things from a different point of view, let's you explore different fantastical worlds, teaches you lessons and gets you thinking. I decided to take on the challenge of mixing elegance and video games to make make our wedding special and unique to us. There is so much beauty in video games, and I am excited to share a small portion of it with you. Oh and incase you were wondering (for you fellow video game lovers out there), here are our favorite games: Me- The Bioshock series or the Pokemon series Jacob- The Kingdom hearts series To play together- Mario games (mario kart, mario party, super mario games, etc.)

Jacob and I met in high school. Senior year I had recently been pushed out of a friend group, so I felt confused and lonely. Thank goodness I still had Jessie and Ashley. During lunch I found Jessie who was sitting with some other people, which included Jacob. I though wow, he's cute. We became friends on Facebook and started talking. I, being the impatient person that I am, asked him out on date just a few minutes before he got the chance to ask me. We decided to go out to get ice cream. That first date, was nerve-wracking. Jacob was too nervous to eat. and I talked about random things which actually lead to a few inside jokes we reference today. Overall, it went well and lead to many more. He asked me to be his girlfriend the following week.

When Jacob was ready to propose, he talked to his parents and my parents. Both voiced concern about school. Jacob and I understood those concerns and were in no rush to dive into wedding expenses. So everyone agreed that we should both be finished with school before we get married. Jacob felt it was the right time to propose though so on 9/21/2015 (our 4 year anniversary) Jacob got up early, made me breakfast, set up the flowers he helped arrange and put the engagement ring in the single white rose. I was so surprised to see all this I started crying instantly. He got down on one knee and asked me to which I said yes (of course).
