I'm flying in. Where should I land?

Answer

Moline International Airport [MLI]. It's less than a 20 minute drive to downtown Davenport.

Is there transportation?

Answer

We recommend renting a car if you can afford to do so. Uber and Lyft are both active in the Quad Cities. A ride from downtown to the venue is $5-10. A ride from the airport to downtown is $15-20. For those of you traveling from more populated regions, please keep in mind that there are less active ride share drivers in the Quad Cities compared to what you may be accustomed.

Will there be another opportunity to celebrate outside of Iowa?

Answer

To accommodate those who are unable to attend the ceremony in Iowa, the couple may hold an informal reception at a later date in California.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested, but we want you to be comfortable. If you want to drop the tie or leave the high heels at home, we encourage you to do so!

What's the parking situation?

Answer

It's Iowa! Parking is free and plenty at the venue. When downtown, there are a handful of parking ramps in addition to street parking. The ramps utilize the ParkMobile Phone App to handle payment.

Adults-only. (Get ready to party!)

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If your invitation's envelope says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the weather like?

Answer

The weather in Iowa is always a little unpredictable, but chances are it will be hot and humid. We recommend checking the weather forecast before you board your flight or hit the road. Additionally, it may be worth noting that the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather permitting. The dinner and dancing will take place inside the Renwick Mansion and their air conditioning is top-notch.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have a severe allergy, please let the bride or groom know in advance. Dinner will be served family-style so you'll have some in-the-moment choices to make. To all the vegetarians out there, we'll make sure there's plenty for you to eat.
