Graduating West Point, I selected Korea while Cammack (higher in the class) was able to select Germany. I had always wanted to live abroad so while I was grateful for a year tour in Korea, I desperately wanted to be with Cammack. After stressful months and lots of people praying, God granted us two posts in Germany! We will spend the next three years together in Europe and give all the glory to God for opening this door. We see Him in every aspect of our relationship and count our blessings. We are excited to celebrate our wedding with you in Ansbach!
Check out beautiful St. Johannis that Cammack found: https://innenstadtkirchen-ansbach.de/kirche-st-johannis/ St. Johannis is a Lutheran parish church and a concert venue of the Bachwoche Ansbach. It was first mentioned in writing from 1139 and is built in Gothic style architecture. The organ was built in 1962 by the organ builder Rieger (Schwarzach, Austria), and restored in 1991 by the organ builder Mühleisen (Leonberg). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Johannis,_Ansbach
Our reception is in the Ansbach Residence, which is a palace built in 1565 in Renaissance style. The courtyard attached to the palace was designed as a Baroque garden between 1723 and 1750. It was severely damaged during World War II, but has been reconstructed. Feel free to wander and enjoy the lush ‘Hofgärten’ grounds during our reception. https://orangerie-ansbach.de/ https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ansbach_Residence
For our guests attending our wedding abroad, we will make recommendations on day trips from Ansbach, for example, to towns such as Rothenburg, Nuremberg, and Wurzburg--see 'Things To Do' for more details. We will do our best to answer questions and help schedule activities so you can enjoy the local Germanic culture. We have reserved a block of rooms at a local hotel in Ansbach. We will be adding sections such as things to do, travel, and more to our schedule for the days surrounding the wedding on Sunday.
