Travel Note
This is in a stunning but rural area of southern France. **We strongly recommend renting a car** to give you added flexibility and the option to explore the surrounding area. We will provide a shuttle bus to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. Take a look at the options below to decide where to fly in, if arriving from abroad.
Train
There are the three train stations closest to the wedding venue and local accomodations. All are on the same train line. Stay tuned for accommodatiom advice to see which suits your itinerary best.
Flight
Perpignan's local airport is the closest to the wedding, however flights here can be pricey and less frequent. We recommend also looking at nearby Barcelona, Girona, Carcassonne, and Montpellier, (see below). Car rentals are available from here.
Flight
Depending on where you're coming from, the most affordable flight may be to Barcelona's airport. For example, there are often direct flights from Boston and cheap direct flights from Dublin. From here, you have a nice excuse to linger in Barcelona for an afternoon, with the option of a 2 hour train ride to Perpignan with stunning views of the coast.
Flight
If flying from Europe, Ryanair offer convenient flights to Girona Airport, which is halfway between Barcelona and Argelès-sur-Mer. This is another option with the same transport options as Barcelona (and slightly closer).
Flight
This airport is one of the more accessible French airports, and only 1-1.5 hour drive from the wedding. Train transport is available from here, but driving via rental car is also highly recommended for added flexibility.
Flight
Depending on where you're coming from, the most affordable flight may be to the nearby French city, Montpellier, often via connection in Paris. From here, you can take a 2-hour train to Perpignan or rent a car and drive (recommended).
