As luck would have it, we both had the same Pre-Calc class. Thankfully one of us was getting an A, and one of us copied the other's homework. You do the math!
While Bryanna was in the pool, Dan often made the 5 (or 7) hour drive to see her on the weekends. Sharing a blue cup at He's Not or tailgating a Maryland game, we made the most of our college experience both together and from a distance.
We went from seeing each other less than once a month to spending 24/7 together during Covid. From first jobs to first apartments, second jobs, and a new city. Dan learned to be a bit tidier and Bryanna learned to avoid asking questions before 9am.
It was the perfect day for a proposal, so obviously Bryanna was pretty unhappy when there were no signs of it by 2pm. Dan had planned a beautiful evening on the water and just had to steer her towards the decoy dinner plans. Thankfully, Bryanna has no sense of direction. The usual DC thunderstorms held off and there were tears, a chorus of "Yes's", and applause from a nearby boat!
