Matron of Honor
Meredith is Cameron's little sister. She is married to the love of her life Stephen Vlahos. They have a beautiful baby girl, Rooney James, that is Cameron's pride and joy.
Matron of Honor
Tara is Jeremy's older sister and eldest of the Thrasher siblings. She is married to Jason Milano with whom she has two beautiful boys, Miles and Ari.
Bridesmaid
Brennan or "B" as Cameron calls her grew up with Cameron and they have remained friends since middle school. She is one of Cam's Ride or Die Crew which has carried her through the good and bad. She is married to Stanley Anderson and has five children. (Dylan, 17, Blakeleigh, 15, Twin Girls, Whitley and James, 5, and the cutest caboose, Payne, 3.)
Bridesmaid
Shannon or "Starr" as Cameron calls her grew up with Cameron and they have remained friends since middle school. She is also one of Cam's Ride or Die Crew which has carried her through the good and bad. She has two beautiful children. Teddy, 6 (Cameron's Precious Godson) and Violet, 5.

Shannon or "Townley" as Cameron calls her grew up with Cameron and they have remained friends since middle school. She is one of Cam's Ride or Die Crew which has carried her through the good and bad. She is married to Patrick Cerne. They reside in Denver, Colorado, but Cameron is praying they move back to Birmingham soon. Cameron also officiated their wedding in 2015 in a beautiful ceremony in Aspen, CO.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and Cameron met in early 2010 floating down the Cahaba River. They have been inseparable since they met and soon became much more like family than friends. Hannah married Daniel Thomas in 2016 where Cameron was one of Hannah's Bridemaids. They went on to have two handsome boys, William(Cameron's Godson), 5 and Connor, 2.
Bridesmaid
Valerie or "Val" as Cameron calls her grew up with Cameron at Vestavia. She was one grade above her in school. They really connected in college and because as close as sisters. Valerie has one gorgeous daughter, Juliet, 11 who is a Junior Bridesmaid in the wedding.
Junior Bridesmaid
Juliet Marie Nesmith is the daughter of Valerie Virciglio Nesmith. She was Cameron's first kid that she attached to and became "Aunt Cam". Juliet and Cameron have a very special relationship. They love to craft together and have several yearly traditions that they both hold close to their hearts(Pumpkin Carving, Making Bows, Valentine's Boxes, Decorating Aunt Cam's House for Christmas and many more.) Juliet will definitely have her own room in Aunt Cam and now Uncle Jeremy's new house that they move into next month. (She loves him too!)
Junior Bridesmaid
Olivia, 12, is the daughter of Sammi and Ryan Thrasher(Jeremy's younger brother). She is the oldest of Jeremy's nieces and nephews and helps sooo much in taking care of the little ones. She has a beautiful soul and spunky spirit just like her momma. Cameron and Jeremy have loved getting to know her on family events especially Thanksgiving at the beach. They can't wait to grow their relationship and make new traditions together.
Flower Girl
Rooney James Vlahos is the daughter of Stephen and Meredith Vlahos. She made "Aunt Cam" officially Aunt Cam in June of 2020. She opened a whole new fabulous world to the Dowdy family. She loves Coco and PopPop and looks a bit like her aunt, which Cameron loves! She will be two in June and growing way too fast. She is definitely spunky like her momma, smart like her daddy and gives the sweetest hugs and kisses. She has two older fur-siblings: Lila and Leroy, Black and Tan Coon Hound siblings that round out the fam.
Wedding Planner
Akimi and Cameron met through kickball circa 2012. They grew very close and have remained rocks for each other whenever the other is in need. Everyone needs a friend like Akimi. She is very loyal, honest and kind. Akimi was picked as the wedding coordinator because of her meticulous attention to detail which Cameron needs help with every once in a while. She is a treasured friend for sure.
Father of the Bride
Jim is not only Cameron's dad, but one of her very best buds. They have worked closely together at Dowdy & Associates, Inc. especially in the last couple of years. He has always been her rock. He has a hilarious sense of humor and an extremely kind heart. He is the perfect head of the Dowdy family.
Mother of the Bride
Carol is Cameron's mom, best friend and daily cheerleader. She taught Cameron at a young age how to smile through life's troubles and always look for the good in all things. She is strong, smart, really smart(like writes textbooks and has her doctorate smart), but she is still very down to earth and easy to get to know. She keeps all of us bright, cheery and optimistic even in the toughest situations. Her ability to promote peace and calmness is a true asset. The Dowdy's definitely would not have made it this far without her, well, at least the path wouldn't have been as smooth, bright and cheery... Everyone needs a Carol Dowdy.
Father of the Groom and Best Man
Bobby is Jeremy's father and his best friend. He has been a rock for their family over the years. Bobby has a very dry sense of humor that will brighten anyone's day. He is the perfect backbone for the Thrasher family.

Ryan is the youngest of the Thrasher kids. Ryan is married to Sammi and they have three kids, Olivia, 12, Tripp 3, and Kelsey, 18 months. He is very hard working, loyal, and kind. Ryan also has that Thrasher sense of humor that is such a gift. We've learned that he is also the fun, unpredictable child. He showed up in Hawaiian matching shirt and pants for the family Thanksgiving. Cameron knew immediately that he was going to be a perfect brother in law to liven up every family event and keep things light and fun. Every family needs a Ryan.
Groomsman
Matt is Jeremy's first cousin which is funny because Cameron actually grew up with Matt at Vestavia. she had no clue they were related until Jeremy took her over to play cards with the family and there sat Matt. When she found out the Jeremy and Matt were cousins, she knew this was the perfect family for her. They are both sweet, kind and hilarious! Matt is married to Christina and they have two amazing kids, Dylan, 4 and Rosalie, 2. They are the "fun" cousins you want to meet with, not only at Christmas, but pretty much everyday of the week just to hangout. They are an amazing addition to the Thrasher clan.
Groomsman
Kevin or "Kev" is Jeremy's first cousin and another great friend. Kevin is married to Candace and they have one son, Truss, who is a little over a year old. Kevin and Candace live in Colorado where they both thrive. They love the adventures that Colorado affords them. Kevin is the coolest dude you'll meet. He is so kind, loyal and adores his family. Even Cameron, who isn't much of a cold weather girl, would hop on a plane and put on her snow gear(lots of snow gear) to visit Cousin Kev. We all wish they lived a little bit closer.
Groomswoman
Kelcie is one of Jeremy's best friends from way back. Kelcie is not only drop dead gorgeous on the outside, but even more beautiful on the inside. Kelcie and Jeremy have definitely been eachothers' rock and support system over the years. Cameron met Kelcie around 2006 and they hit if off immediately probably because she and Jeremy are so very similar. They both have huge hearts, loving souls and super fun personalities. Kelcie is a wonderful, loyal friend and the perfect addition to the wedding party!
Officiant
Dr. Stewart Jackson is not only an amazing counselor and minister, but he and his wife, Robin, are some of Cameron's parents' best friends. Dr. Stewart Jackson(or Stewart as Cameron called him) baptized her way back in 1982 and helped start her spiritual journey in faith. Stewart is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and even published a book, Quiet Thoughts for an Anxious Time: Talks in a College Chapel in December 2009. Stewart and wife, Robin are the parents of three adult children and grandparents to seven. Cameron knew that Dr. Jackson would be the perfect person to officiate their wedding especially after their meeting with Jeremy who also admired his soothing spirit and leadership in faith. He has such a gentle spirit and way with words that truly soothes the soul.
