In 2005 I walked into The Fox and Hound and saw the cutest guy in a yellow shirt. I just knew he was dating the gorgeous bartender that he had been talking to. Thankfully she was just his sister, Tara! I was smitten. We were inseparable. After about six months we got a puppy together and named him Bear. One day we ran to get him some treats and stopped by the pet store. In the exact same cage as Bear sat an identical little black Pomeranian. They called him Bear and that was it! We changed his name and that was the day Tuxedo(Tuxie) came into our family. We went our separate ways about a year later, but I knew that if we were meant to be that we would get back together. TWELVE long years went by... In October of 2020 our oldest pup went to Heaven and I knew I had to call his dad. He came over to my house to comfort me and hug on Tux(who was now almost 15) and he never left. We discovered that we both had a love of all things baseball, especially the Braves. It wasn't long before I knew that we were both on the same page in life and I couldn't live without him. We went to a couple of Braves games in 2021 and to our HUGE surprise the Braves had made the post season and we were definitely going. I booked a room for the division championship game which was close to Jeremy's birthday, so we called it a birthday trip. I had made it so special by getting a corner suite that overlooked Truist Park, but I had no idea how special that trip would be. I walked into Room 1325 to the most AMAZING view of the field and ran straight out to the balcony. I kept calling for Jeremy to come and see, but he was taking forever. I turned around and saw him on one knee and about fainted. I had totally missed the dozen roses and champagne that greeted us as we walked into the room. Of course I said YES! I could have never imagined a better proposal. The Braves ended up winning the World Series for the first time since 1995. I knew that we were definitely meant to be together forever.
