Ceremony

We invite our guests to help us celebrate with joy in colorful cocktail attire. The chapel is an air conditioned building suitable for summer heat or rain.
Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel sits within the heart of Powell Gardens. Follow the signs form the entrance for "ceremony" and park near chapel. You can park in any mowed grass and along the road. A golf cart shuttle will be running from this location if you wish not to walk. If you plan to walk the gardens from the front, please plan for a little extra time (4pm is just fine). All guests have access to all areas of Powell Gardens free of charge from open to close. If you wish to enjoy the gardens before our wedding or during cocktail hour, the paths from the chapel to the gardens are paved but the grounds are expansive. You may wish to bring both walking and dancing shoes.
Cocktail Hour
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Kingsville, MO
After the ceremony, please enjoy cocktail hour with sips and nature walks! Drinks will be served on the garden terrace. Please follow signs around the main building, guests are free to enjoy the gardens and patios during this time.
Reception
6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

The Grand Hall is an air conditioned building suitable for rain or heat.
Introductions will be at 6:30pm SHARP in the Grand Hall. Please make sure you make it back in time after enjoying the botanical gardens. You will drive and follow signs for "reception" and park at the main entrance. Thank you! Dinner and dancing to follow.
