Maid of Honor
Caitlyn and Hayley met in a Bible study their first year of college. When looking for housing for their second year, Caitlyn texted Hayley to ask if she would join her in a house with their Christian fellowship; little did she know, Hayley would soon become one of her best friends! Hayley's joyful, friendly, kind, and caring spirit attracts all kinds of friends to her side. Her friendship is a blessing to anyone who meets her! The two have spent the past three years laughing, crying, dancing, and growing together. Caitlyn is so excited to have Hayley as her maid of honor!
Bridesmaid
Caitlyn and Savannah met when they both moved into the same Christian house in Caitlyn's second and Savannah's fourth year of college. Savannah, Caitlyn, and Hayley quickly became close friends, and now visits with Savannah, even following her graduation in 2022, are some of the best memories the three of them have from the past few years. Savannah is kind, compassionate, grounded, and incredibly funny. What a joy it will be to have her in the wedding party this coming August!
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Caitlyn met their first year at U.Va. when Lauren joined the Bible study Caitlyn was a part of. The two then spent two years in small groups together, laughing, learning, sharing, and growing with one another. Coffee and lunch dates with Lauren are always uplifting, encouraging, and filled with laughter. Lauren's heart for other people and for the Lord is so inspiring! She is selfless, clever, loving, and so funny! Caitlyn is so excited to have Lauren join her on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and Caitlyn met in high school, through color guard together. They shared many classes, and spent many hours talking, dancing, laughing, learning choreography, and commiserating over the challenges of high school together. Kelsey's bubbly, generous, outgoing, and kind character allows her to make fast friends with everyone she meets. Though they attend rival universities, visits with Kelsey to catch up over coffee and card games are some of the highlights of Caitlyn's time in college. Her friendship is such a gift, and Caitlyn is so honored to have Kelsey join her for her wedding!

Elizabeth moved into the same house as Caitlyn during Caitlyn's third and Liz's second year of college. She immediately lit up the house with her infectious energy! Liz is joyful, energetic, ambitious, and loves the Lord. She is always making jokes, sharing her life with others, or supporting her friends. Liz is certainly the life of the party! Her friendship is an amazing blessing to the house. Caitlyn is so excited to have Liz join her for her wedding day!
Best Man
After searching for a Christian fellowship on Grounds in McKinley’s first year, he met Christopher at an open house for one five minutes from his dorm, in the midst of COVID. After being in a bible study led by Christopher for that year, McKinley and Christopher led a small group together the following year and have stayed close ever since! Christopher’s always down for a laugh, a kind word, or an hours long conversation on anything about the Mongols, history, or Lord of the Rings. McKinley is so blessed to have such a close friend to be his Best Man for the wedding.
Groomsman
McKinley met Jonathan in their second year at UVA. Jonathan eventually ended up joining McKinley’s Bible study for that year and the two have grown steadily closer ever since, from going to every UVA sports game together, to eventually living in the same house their fourth year. McKinley is grateful for who Jonathan’s been to him for the past 3 years and is honored to have him join him for his wedding.
Groomsman
Kameron and McKinley met unexpectedly in McKinley’s second (Kam’s third) year at UVA. Both of them had signed a lease to live in the same house for that year and, unknown to both of them, the two would end up becoming great friends! McKinley admires Kam’s sense of purpose and energy, while always being there for him. Kam’s always there for a good laugh or a deep, intellectual conversation about the most random topics. McKinley is so grateful that Kam is able to be with him for the wedding.
Groomsman
Nahor and McKinley actually met twice, once online in their first year bible study and once their second year (finally) in-person! Nahor’s always the life of the party and such a great friend. He’s always ready with advice or a kind word and always the most upbeat person in the room! His friendship is such a great blessing to everyone who knows him, McKinley included. McKinley’s so excited to have Nahor join him for the wedding.
Groomsman
Hunter and McKinley have been friends since childhood. They shared so many times, good and bad, and practically grew up together. From band in middle and high school to classes all throughout, McKinley is so grateful for Hunter’s friendship over such a long period of time and is so grateful for his ability to be with him for his wedding.
