Where is the venue?
Answer
Our venue is the beautiful Waverly Estate in Lunenburg, VA. It's about a two hour drive from Charlottesville, Virginia, 40 minutes outside of Farmville, VA, or four hours south of northern Virginia. 11586 Courthouse Road, Lunenburg, VA 23952

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm, so we recommend arriving no later than 3:40 in order to park and find a seat! The venue will also have golf carts for transportation from the parking area to the chapel.

Is there cell service?
Answer
Given that the venue is in a quite rural location, cell service may be spotty, especially given the size of our event. We recommend downloading or printing your directions to and from (especially from!) the venue, the day of the wedding to avoid any mishaps!

Do I have a plus-one?
Answer
Unfortunately, we can't accommodate a plus-one for every invitation at the venue due to limited space. Your invitation and the link to RSVP should list whether or not you have a plus-one.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes! The venue has golf carts that can easily transport you from the parking area to the chapel, and from the chapel to the reception space. The chapel also has a ramp to allow for wheelchair access.

What should I wear?
Answer
The event will be cocktail attire. We would love to see women in dresses and men in suits, but dress in whatever makes you feel your best! It will likely be warm outside, so be sure to consider the weather when planning your wardrobe! If you would like to match our decor, the bridal party and flowers will be in greens, golds, warm reds, and pinks. However, there is no obligation to do so!

Are kids welcome?

Your invitation will specify if your kids are invited. We love all of our friends, no matter what age, and did our best to accommodate children when possible!
