The Acqua Hotel is mid-range in cost, ranging from $272-$359 (excluding tax) depending on room request. The Holiday Inn is an 11 minute drive to the venue and the closest and most affordable option. Let them know you're with the Monaghan / Beyer party. They will book rooms at 15% discount from their site's pricing. If you see a better discount on another site (ex. booking.com, expedia.com, etc) ask if they'll match that price.
Travel Note
If you are looking to spend time in San Francisco, there are hotels as close as 15 minutes away from the venue, however please don't forget to factor in weekend afternoon bridge traffic. There are many house rentals available on AirBnb and VRBO, so make sure to check those sites for lodging.
