FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 15th, 2023 so we can have an accurate headcount for our vendors!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive around 3pm to ensure you get settled in time. Our ceremony will start promptly at 3:30pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate additional guests. Your invitation will be addressed to "[Your Name] & Guest" if you have been given a plus one.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, due to limited numbers we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if you see "The [Your Name] Family" or their names written on your invitation. If only you and your partner have been invited, you will see your names listed individually.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Welcome to Sausalito, all of you out-of-towners! In early February, the Bay Area is known to have rainy days as well as gorgeous sunny days. Keep an eye on the weather in order to pack and dress accordingly. In our research we found that on average its a high of 57F and a low of 47F. We recommend you bring layers, no matter the weather forecast. Our ceremony will be held outside on the dock, the dinner will be in a rustic boat house (think barn with little to no insulation), and dancing will be in the bar upstairs (think typical indoor protection from the elements). If it does rain on our wedding day, the ceremony will not be held outside, but we'd still recommend bringing rain gear.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for our friends and family to dress up with us for our celebration! Wear whatever formal outfit makes you feel fancy and cool! Wear your dancing shoes - we're extremely excited about our band.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Next to the venue is a huge dirt lot. There will be ample parking (a Bay Area miracle)! Note: Depending on weather, the lot may be a little muddy.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Feel free to take pictures throughout the evening. We will have a professional photographer there, so during the ceremony, please do not reach over your neighbor or obstruct other's views in order to "get that shot". Our photographer(s) will be on it! We will send out a QR code/link to a shared album so we can all enjoy and relive the special moments for years to come.
