Getting to Harbour Island

North Eleuthera is the airport you need to fly into. Our connection has been in Florida from Boston. From the North Eleuthera airport you will take a taxi ($20 per group, cash only) to the docks. From the docks you will take a water taxi ($10 a person, cash only) to Governor's Dock on Harbour Island.

Rental Car

Golf Carts

If you are staying on Harbour Island (not The Other Side) you would likely benefit from a golf cart to get around. The one most convenient to the dock is Dunmore Rentals, which we have used twice and not had problems with. Conch and Coconut is another very popular place to rent from.

Travel Note

Boats

For guests staying on The Other Side, they will meet you at Governor's Dock on Harbour Island and take you by boat to Eleuthera (no charge).

Where to Stay

For our guests finding their own accommodations, we recommend Bahama House by Eleven Experiences. If you're looking for more space, we've stayed at the Coral House AirBNB, which was lovely. If you want to stay on the Pink Sand Beach and are not at The Ocean View Club, we recommend the Dunmore hotel. We've also heard great things about the Landing Hotel, which is "downtown".
