Caitlin and Erica met through having horses at Kelli's barn, Oak Hill. Erica persuaded Caitlin to go back to school for nursing. They also share a love of live music and frequently are each others concert buddy.

Ron and Andrew met when he first joined the fire service and became a mentor to him. Their friendship started off rocky but grew into a strong brotherly bond.

Amber and Caitlin met when they were very young at Olney Farm where they both developed their love for horses. They have continued to stay friends throughout the progression of their lives. Amber recently moved back from Alaska and now only lives five minutes away from Caitlin.

Sam and Caitlin met at John Carroll and have remained friends since. Fun fact: Caitlin passed out while being a bridesmaid in Sam's wedding.

Kevin was a new paramedic at the fire station that Andrew used to live at and through the countless hours and calls together form a lifelong friendship.

Nina and Caitlin became fast and close friends when they met at a horse farm while Caitlin was going to school at York College. Fun fact, while Nina was on her honeymoon in Asheville, Caitlin and Andrew ironically were also there. Along with Zach (Nina's husband), the four of them kayaked and explored the Biltmore while there!

Caitlin and Ray developed their friendship while working together at Upper Chesapeake in the ER, they bonded fast when they discovered they both had a love for horses. Caitlin refers to Ray as her work husband, as they have experienced a lot together while working in the emergency department.
