What are the Venue's COVID-19 procedures?

Answer

Unless you are eating or drinking, please wear your masks at all times! Masks will be provided if you forget yours. Other "house" rules include social distancing and practicing the 6 ft. rule (when possible). Hand sanitation stations will be available around the venue. If you have a fever or are experiencing any sickness, please stay home. Briscoe Manor is incredibly spacious, both inside and outside. How large will this social gathering be?

Answer

At this time, we do not know exactly how many guests are planning to attend. But we will update this section as more RSVPs come in. We can tell you that the bride and groom both have large families and a wide circle of friends, so this event should not be considered a small or micro-wedding by any means. For full transparency, we have invited about 250 people. Our venue, Briscoe Manor, has enough space inside and outside to allow this amount of people to safely socially distance.

What should I do If I can't make it?

Answer

We understand things may come up, especially in the era of Covid-19. If you cannot make it to the wedding, or if you are not comfortable attending large gatherings, make sure you RSVP as "Not Attending" so we can plan accordingly. You will be missed!

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your kiddos, we want you to have the night off and enjoy yourself! For that reason, this celebration will be adults only.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest" then yes you can! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What if I have a Dietary Restriction?

Answer

That's no problem! Just let us know about your dietary need when you RSVP.

Where is the Venue?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be at the beautiful Briscoe Manor, located at 5801 FM 723 Rd., Richmond, TX 77406. Join us in the chapel for the ceremony. From there, the cocktail hour will be in the adjacent outdoor courtyard. The reception dinner and dancing will be inside the beautiful reception hall next door. All these areas are just a few steps away from each other, so no need to drive to a second location!

What is the parking situation?

Briscoe Manor has complimentary parking on site. While there is ample parking, please carpool if you can.

When does the celebration begin?

Answer

Saturday, December 12, 2020. The ceremony begins at 4pm, with a cocktail hour to follow. The reception begins at 5:30pm and includes a buffet dinner and an evening of dancing.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Dress to impress, but be comfortable! Since the cocktail hour will be located outdoors in the courtyard, we will have a few outdoor heaters, but you may want to bring something warm to wear! Also please keep in mind the wedding is in December, and since this is Texas, be prepared for all four seasons.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
