Matron of Honor
Tiffaney Edwards is not only my cousin, but we are like sisters. From the moment we met at 5 years old, we’ve been inseparable. When we were in high school, people referred to us as “TiffaneyKristina,” because when you saw one, you saw the other. She and I are the queen of inside jokes; one look and it could send us into an uncontrollable spiral of laughter. She has the biggest heart, and I admire her strength, leadership, and the unwavering support and love that she has shown me. She and I have shared so many countless memories throughout the years, and this one will be another one for the books! I’m so honored to have you standing next to me on my wedding day.
Maid of Honor
Dr. Dymisha Richardson, my friend, my dance partner, and my unofficial counselor. She my ride or die, always there when I need her, and I can lean on Dymisha despite how heavy the circumstance may be. She is just an all around kind soul always rooting for her girlfriends and wanting us to all win. Dymisha will be your biggest supporter. Our friendship has taught me that you don’t have to be friends from childhood or college to establish a strong bond. I am so happy to call her my sister-friend and have her next to me to celebrate my special day.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is not only Byron’s sister, but I will soon be able to call her my sister as well. From the moment I met her and she told me she was a Leo, I knew she was a good person lol. Brittany is a dancer, a yogi, and a wonderful auntie. She has such a beautiful zen spirit. I admire her zeal for life, travel, and being in the moment. I’m so grateful that life has united us to become family.
Bridesmaid
Ashleigh and I were neighbors and we would wave in passing, but it wasn’t until a random incident in the neighborhood took us from neighbors to friends. What’s better than having a friend as a neighbor? A friend that is a chef! I was invited over for countless meals, wine, and conversations that lasted hours. Ashleigh is the person I can manifest with and dream big! I’m so grateful to still maintain a friendship even though we are thousands of miles away.
Best Man
My first best friend in life, I have known this man since the day I was born. Technically he was born 10 minutes sooner which would make him older, but no need to dabble in semantics. He has been a constant source of inspiration, strength, and guidance. Growing up with a sibling your same age and with your face definitely makes life interesting, a unique experience I would never trade. I've watched you grow and mature from a boy into a man, a father, a leader. This day would not be complete without him.
Groomsman
I met Kevon my freshman year at Tuskegee University, roughly 1 or two weeks after the semester started. Although our initial meeting was competitive in nature, we've grown well past friends. There is no Byron, the Tuskegee Graduate without Kevon. He's kept me honest, humble, and hungry. One of the hardest working and genuine men that I know, this day would not be complete without you.
Groomsman
Zo, as we call, him is my longest tenured friend. A bond that formed at 4 years old has grown to Zoe becoming a bonafide member of the family. I'm not old enough to say I have friends that Ive known for 3 decades, which is exactly why he's family. For three decades, we have shared every emotion, every failure, and every success.
