The only black owned coffee company in downtown Houston.
This pizzeria is arguably the best in Houston. It is 1 block away from the wedding venue. Best of all, they are open until 3a and deliver to hotels downtown.
Great Tex-Mex! They also offer Saturday and Sunday brunch.
Sambuca is right below our wedding venue. They stay open until 12:30a and offer live music.
SUNDAY BRUNCH! (A reservation way in advance is the best way to secure a table at the time you want. This is a reservation ONLY restaurant.) Lucille’s is a black owned restaurant that is a short Uber ride away. They have been featured on Food Network, and provide a relaxed vibe, chill music, and live music on the patio.
Sunday Funday - Let the TURN UP begin! Chapman and Kirby is an indoor /outdoor restaurant with a large turfed patio, deejay, and mimosas carafes; perfect if you prefer a Sunday Funday. They also offer VIP sections outdoor that guarantee a seat to sit and drink and people watch. If weather permits, this is a good spot to close out the weekend.
Sunday Funday at The Spot on Emancipation. The vibe is relaxed, good deejay, and strong drinks. The best time to go is later in the afternoon after 4p. There is also a food truck out front that offers some of the best barbecue houston has to offer.
Beautiful park in the middle of downtown
Cheers to everything this weekend! 🥂🍷! Head over to Pur Noire for wines by the glass and/or bottle. Pur Noire is Houston’s first black owned winery.
