If you know us, you know that we do not drink coffee. But everyone we talk to says this is a must for your coffee needs. Maybe you can tell us how much we are missing out too! Stop by this coffee shop on your way into or out of Bend! You won't regret it!
We never miss an opportunity to have ice cream, whether its Handles, Cold Stone (within dangerous walking distance of our apartment) or whatever is in depths of our freezer. But nothing stands up to Sno Cap. - Mac Recs: Birthday Cake and Mint Chocolate Chip - Bryn Recs: Marrionberry
We love this place for their great Deli Sandwiches and high quality meats.
Solomon's is a fine dining restaurant at Tetherow. Featuring farm to table cuisine with fresh seasonal updates and options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, dairy-free and gluten-free, the menus always have something new for everyone.
Tetherow's version of a pub! A great, causal place to grab a beer and a bite to eat!
Widgi Creek is only a 5 minute drive from Tetherow Resort if you are interested in participating in one of the fastest growing sports in the USA. You may catch a few of us competitive individuals on the courts looking for bragging rights for the weekend. No glass is allowed on the courts!
If you're in town early and want to explore Bend a bit, Crux is a great option if you like great beer, good ciders, and lots of yummy food truck options.
A few notes about the float: 1. It comes with a shuttle pass which drops you off at the beginning of the float with your tube and will pick you up downtown at Drake Park (where you end the float). However, if you'd like to explore downtown after your float (grab food or bar hop) you are more than welcome to do so! You just need to leave your rental tube by the "pick up area" at Drake Park and will need to figure out how to get back to the parking area later, if your car is there. 2. Drinking and floating is not encouraged by the rental company so if you plan on bringing any refreshments for the float, please keep those hidden. 3. The float can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours - depending on how fast you want to float or if you decide to tie up somewhere. With that being said, please pack accordingly (sunscreen, hat, water, etc). 4. If you are wanting to float with a group, book your tubes all together to make sure they have enough tubes for everyone during that time slot. Enjoy! :)
One of the best breakfast spots in the Northwest Crossing/Bend area! From their signature Ocean Rolls to seasonal from-scratch soups and traditional sandwiches they offer a wide variety of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
An amazing breakfast restaurant. They have great bloody Maria's!
Another great option that is close to Broken Top and Tetherow - as well as the mountain (get it?). This place has food, drinks, and lots of fun games. It was formerly Justy's, but had a name change recently!
Historic mill buildings turned outdoor retail mall with shops, restaurants & a riverside trail. Having the Deschutes River right next to the Old Mill makes for some fun people-watching as well!
Enjoy Tetherow's year around pool! If it's a beautiful day you may never get Bryn and Maclain to leave to pool side.
There are lots of biking and walking trial around the resort and golf course. Have caution on hills! We don't want anyone to fall of their bikes. Just ask Bryn. She know's a lot about the terror's of bike's not staying upright. She recommend's the stationary bikes in the fitness center.
