Who would have thought that line would lead to a wedding especially because out of all the sports in the world Bryant chose football to lead with, Dana’s least favorite sport. He did get a first date at the 3rd Ave Ale House in the UES of Manhattan. However, Bryant just so happened to ask Dana out on a night when UNC basketball was playing. She did give him fair warning that she was not going to pay attention to him once the game came on and said as long as he was ok with that. He agreed to go not realizing Dana was dead serious. Needless to say she learned that very first night just how patient a person Bryant is and he learned just how important the Tarheels are to Dana. Over the years since that first date Bryant and Dana have loved spending time in their apartment in Weehawken, at Bryant’s family’s home in Westchester, and on the boat and ice skating at the Pasini family lake house in Greenwood Lake. They have enjoyed traveling together to many amazing places. From frolicking through the Alps in Austria, to golfing in Bermuda and Jamaica, to dressing up as Ghostface and Jason in Salem, to Bryant learning how to snowboard in 3 weeks time just so Dana could take him to the top of the mountain in Steamboat, Colorado. They have a shared love for sports including the New York Yankees and have enjoyed attending games together. Even though they can’t agree on a basketball team, they will go and support each other’s teams even when Steph Curry breaks the 3 point record against Bryant’s New York Knicks! They also enjoy to play sports whenever they can, especially golf. So much so that Bryant proposed to Dana at the Crystal Springs golf course on the 9th hole in front of family and friends. After 4 years together, the time is right for us to officially tie the knot, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all our favorite people.
