Train
There is a light rail train from Denver International Airport (DIA) to Union Station, the main Denver train station. The airport train leaves frequently in both directions and is inexpensive. We recommend buying a 3 hour regional ticket, since this is cheaper than a one way fare. Make sure to get a senior fare if applicable! Check the following website for RTD fare information: https://www.rtd-denver.com/fares-passes/fares Check the following website for the Route A schedule: https://www.rtd-denver.com/app/route/A/schedule If you are coming from the airport into Denver, you should check the westbound schedule.
Travel Note
The FF1 RTD bus leaves Union Station regularly and takes you into downtown Boulder. It arrives at 14th and Walnut, 4 blocks from the Boulderado and Rembrandt Yard. If you bought a 3 hour regional ticket for the light rail at the airport, the ticket will also cover the bus to Boulder. Please note: not all FF buses are FF1's, and only the FF1 goes to Boulder. Check the following website for RTD fare information: https://www.rtd-denver.com/fares-passes/fares Check the following website for the FF schedule: https://www.rtd-denver.com/app/route/FF/schedule If traveling from Denver to Boulder, you want to take a westbound bus.
Travel Note
The Union Station bus area has recently become a common place for homeless people to spend the night. It's recommended that you travel during daylight hours.
