Things To Do

Here's some hot tips on some of our favorite things to do in the city and up state. We'll keep adding. Check back!

Blue Bee Cafe

, (607) 746-8060

An awesome spot for Saturday morning brunch, delicious lunch or a snack and coffee any time. MAKE SURE you try the Jane's Ice Cream. It's local (from nearby Kingston) - the lavender will blow your mind.

The Mountain Brook Inn

This is where we will be having our farewell brunch on Sunday morning. If you're ever up this way on another Saturday night, Gary does a mean dinner too.

Good Cheap Food

, (607) 746-6562

A good spot to pick up a selection of local fare. Right on Main Street Delhi.

Price Chopper

3 Main Street, Delhi, NY 13753
, (607) 746-8001

Not a must see, but if you need groceries, this is your spot. Hey, we all gotta eat!

Minnewaska State Park Preserve

5281 Route 44-55, Kerhonkson, NY 12446
, (845) 255-0752

Make the most of your journey upstate and stop by for an easy hike around the most glorious lake. This is the American outdoors right here, y'all. Swimming at the teeny beach is optional, but incredible. Bring your bathers!

Phoenicia Diner

5681 New York 28, Phoenicia, NY 12464
, (845) 688-9957

An original 60s diner tuned hipster haunt. Stop in on the way up state or the way back for upscale diner fare and some pretty darn good drinks. Plan for a wait if you are brunching!

Table on Ten

52030 New York 10, Bloomville, NY 13739
, (607) 643-6509

Need some decent coffee? Look no further. Yumbo sandwiches and cakes/pies too.

Brushland Eating House

1927 County Road 6, Bovina Center, NY 13740
, (607) 832-4861

If you're coming a day early or staying a day late, dinner here is a must. A perfect blend of country food and city sensibilities. Definitely book.

Central Park

New York, NY
, (212) 310-6600

An iconic but also crazy beautiful park, and an oasis in the hustle of the city. Brooke has run around this park a hundred times or more. You should definitely take a stroll. Watch out for fire flies at dusk!

Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge, New York, NY 10038

Grin and bear the crowds. This is totally worth it.

Noorman's Kil

609 Grand Street, Williamsburg, NY 11211
, (347) 384-2526

It's not in our neighborhood, but this is our local in spirit. Also the home of Randy's 2 x grilled cheese wins.

Brooklyn Flea

80 Pearl Street, Dumbo, NY 11201
, (718) 928-6603

Dreams come true at the Brooklyn Flea on Saturdays and Sundays. Right under the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo.

East River State Park

90 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg, NY 11211
, (718) 782-2731

Pick up the East River Ferry for a cool ride back to the city with views along the way. Beats a steaming subway any day.

Dekalb Market Hall

Dekalb Market Hall

445 Albee Square West, Downtown Brooklyn, NY 11201

This is where it all began - first date territory right here.
