An awesome spot for Saturday morning brunch, delicious lunch or a snack and coffee any time. MAKE SURE you try the Jane's Ice Cream. It's local (from nearby Kingston) - the lavender will blow your mind.

Great indoor/outdoor spot, with Wayside Cider brewed right here and great local food. This is where we are having Welcome Drinks on Friday night.

Minnewaska State Park Preserve
Make the most of your journey upstate and stop by for an easy hike around the most glorious lake. This is the American outdoors right here, y'all. Swimming at the teeny beach is optional, but incredible. Bring your bathers!
Phoenicia Diner
An original 60s diner tuned hipster haunt. Stop in on the way up state or the way back for upscale diner fare and some pretty darn good drinks. Plan for a wait if you are brunching!

Need some decent coffee? Look no further. Yumbo sandwiches and cakes/pies too.
Brushland Eating House
If you're coming a day early or staying a day late, dinner here is a must. A perfect blend of country food and city sensibilities. Definitely book.
Central Park
An iconic but also crazy beautiful park, and an oasis in the hustle of the city. Brooke has run around this park a hundred times or more. You should definitely take a stroll. Watch out for fire flies at dusk!
Brooklyn Bridge
Grin and bear the crowds. This is totally worth it.
Noorman's Kil
It's not in our neighborhood, but this is our local in spirit. Also the home of Randy's 2 x grilled cheese wins.

Dreams come true at the Brooklyn Flea on Saturdays and Sundays. Right under the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo.
East River State Park
Pick up the East River Ferry for a cool ride back to the city with views along the way. Beats a steaming subway any day.

Like food? This is your spot. A completely mind-blowing food hall with all sorts of treats, from healthy bowls, to smoked meat feasts.

Cruise the streets lined with beautiful trees and art deco apartment buildings. Sunnyside Gardens is the first planned neighborhood in the US! Our place is on 45th between 43rd Ave and Skillman.
Brookside Market
If you end up in our neighborhood, do yourself a favor and get a coffee and a breakfast sambo at this place, even if it's not breakfast time.
