Lodging varies by size of group. For cost and to reserve, please call Kitty, event planner at Stronghold, at (815) 732-6111 x613. All lodging buildings are air-conditioned, beside the Castle. HERITAGE LODGE Stronghold's hotel-style facility offers 16 double-occupancy bedrooms each with a private bath, four of which are handicap accessible. The facility also has a large gathering room with a fireplace and a smaller meeting room. HICKORY HOUSE Best for a smaller group or family. Sleeps up to 12 people. There are six rooms, each with two twin beds and a sink. There are two shared baths and two showers in each hall. This cabin also has a small living room with a fireplace, galley kitchen, and outdoor fire pit. CARRIAGE HOUSE Best for groups. Sleeps up to 30 people. A separate, two-story wing of the Castle, Carriage House, offers a living room with a fireplace, full kitchen, dining room, 8 bedrooms with bunk beds, and shared baths. BARRICK LODGE Best for groups. Sleeps up to 36 people. This facility has an exposed lower-level patio, two large conference rooms, full kitchen facilities, and an outdoor fire pit. Bedrooms have twin bunk beds. STRONGHOLD CASTLE Best for groups. Sleeps up to 56 total; rooms vary between 2-person and 14-person occupancy. This unique Tudor-style manor house is nestled high on the bluffs overlooking the Rock River. Dormitory-style lodging. Some rooms have a private bath while other rooms share a bathroom. NOT air conditioned.

This bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown Oregon has nine rooms that each sleep two. Built in the mid-1840s, this building has seen a lot — Abraham Lincoln is documented to have stayed here before he was president! It is a 2-mile/5-minute drive to Stronghold.

This is your standard family-run hotel. Rooms range from one full-sized bed to two-room suites that sleep six. It is a 1-mile/3-minute drive from Stronghold. Across the street from Chateau Lodge.
