Located conveniently less than a mile from both The Cheeca Lodge & Spa and Lorelei Cabana Bar, La Jolla Resort offers a quintessential Florida Keys style lodging at a more affordable price point. Advertising as a motel, La Jolla is anything but your traditional motel. Sporting upgraded room accommodations that more so resemble a condo, outfitted with a communal pool, beach & dock area, and bayside views. La Jolla offers a Keys experience without breaking the bank.

Islander Resort
The Islander Resort is a classic Islamorada resort-style hotel. Located right down the street from The Cheeca Lodge (3 blocks) on the ocean side and across the street from Lorelei, you will be conveniently located to all our events and in walking distance to all of Islamorada. The Islander recently underwent room & main pool renovations that look so nice! Their price point will be similar to The Cheeca Lodge but offers an additional option for those looking for nice accommodation in Islamorada.

Miami International is the closest airport to Islamorada (approximately 1.5 hour by car) and is a major airport with daily flights from most locations.

Palm Beach Airport (PBI as us locals call it) is up in our neck of the woods in Palm Beach County. This is a small airport so flights may not be as frequent, but is a great option to explore more of South Florida. PBI is approximately 2.5 hours from Islamorada.

Ft. Lauderdale Airport is approximately 2 hours from Islamorada and will provide more cost effective options than Palm Beach International Airport, while offering a wide variety of flight times and dates.

Key West International Airport
Key West Airport is an option for those looking to spend all of their time exploring the beautiful Florida Keys. Located approximately 1.5 hours from Islamorada, this airport is the southern-most airport in the continental United States and while great for being in the Keys, is not easily accessible to the rest of South Florida.

Rental Cars
We highly recommend renting a car from whichever location you fly into. All airports you will be flying into will have several rental car options. Driving down to The Keys is one of our favorite drives - rolling down the windows as you cruise down the Overseas Highway with the sun shining is, as they say, "the vibe"!
