We met at a get together he was having at his house during the Summer of 2015. We instantly hit it off when we played Kan Jam together. We talked for hours and the night never seemed to end. He had just moved to Nashville in February and I was just visiting to see if I wanted to move there as well. When we met, it definitely persuaded me to make the move to Nashville even more. I'm very happy that I did :)

We went to Rosemary Beach, FL to celebrate my step mom's birthday. Little did I know that Kevin had something special planned the whole time. We all went to this really pretty rooftop bar to get drinks before taking "family photos." Kevin had gone to the little shops earlier and had gotten a surprise gift. He took me to the lawn in front of the bar and told me to close my eyes... when I opened them, he was down on one knee and proposed. I was so excited I started doing a happy dance and said "YES!" immediately.
