Matron of Honor
Krystina and Brittany met during elementary school while completing back handsprings in the schoolyard. Some may say that they are best friends, but Brittany considers her a sister. They've transitioned from middle school and nights at the mall to high school where they cheered together, to college, and beyond. As the different phases of their lives continue to pass their friendship is a constant. Brittany can't wait to say I Do with Krystina by her side.
Best Man
Paris and Benjamin met in high school when he still went by Benji. They were both on the football team, and Paris gained two things that have defined his life from this moment, a bum ankle, and a friend for life. Paris would not be the man he is today without his friendship to Benji as he helped him find his quiet confidence as he went through high school, and although miles separate them, he still knows that he will always have his back. Benji and Paris have transitioned from the 5-train crew to being by each other's sides when he says I do.
Man of Honor
Brittany crashed Stefan's Birthday party freshman year of college and they have been inseparable ever since. Between nights trauma bonding over studying biochemistry, trips to Atlanta, and midnight cry sessions at Steak n' Shake their friendship blossomed. Status post-college graduation, Stefan and Brittany have remained the best of friends. Rumor is they go together like Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.
Groomsman
Alex and Paris met during their time at Meharry. They started as neighbors, transitioned to game nights at Alex's place, and finally their friendship was forged in the trenches that were medical school clinical rotations. To everyone else, Alex is the true embodiment of southern hospitality, but Paris likes him because he is the only person he knows as messy as he is (they love some good gossip). Paris can't wait to have Alex as his groomsman on his special day.
Bridesmaid
Savannah and Brittany met through the chaos that was high school cheerleading. They started as the best base duo this side of this Mississippi (it's a fact), and then became life-long friends. Throughout Brittany's life Sav has always been there whether it's to gossip about the newest season of Drag Race, force strangers to register to vote, or share a glass of wine and just vent. She was by her side when she got mugged (ask them about it, it's a great story), and she'll be by her side on her special day.
Groomsman
Dwight and Paris met when they were roommates during medical school. With his humor and quick wit, it didn't take long before he became one of Paris's closest friends, 1/4th of the cap crew, and an unofficial member of the Hopkins family (rumor has it there are members of the Meharry class that still believe that Brittany and Dwight are cousins). If you get the chance ask Dwight about his nickname for Paris and Brittany. Paris is elated to have Dwight by his side once more as he gets married. Fun Fact: Dwight gave the suggestion for the restaurant that Paris took Brittany on for their first date.
Bridesmaid
Kiara and Brittany met in college through Krystina, as she was always along for the ride (and often the most responsible one) on her and Krystina's wild adventures. When Brittany moved to Orlando before medical school they became even closer, sharing weekly dinners and always finding time to turn up at brunch. Brittany is ecstatic to have her by her side on her big day.
Groomsman
Lester is one of the first friends Paris met in medical school, they started of studying together (with Dwight) and then ended up being the closest of friends. Lester is 1/4th of the cap crew, is the best person to take to brunch, and is always able to lend a listening ear. Paris knows that he wouldn't have made it through medical school without Lester always being there to offer a laugh or sound advice Paris can't wait to have Lester there to share in his and Brittany's special day. PS- If you give him enough drinks Lester will twerk.
Bridesmaid
Chenin (or Shannon if she's at Starbucks) and Brittany have known each other since middle school, but their friendship truly began in college when they attended FSU together. They lived together where they could often be found eating easy mac and watching Bridal Fridays with the other member of their trio Jamie or catching a $5 movie at AMC. During these times Brittany learned how great of a friend Chen is, and Chenin learned that Brittany can easily be bribed with popcorn. There's no one else that Brittany would rather call to vent after a long day of work and she could not imagine marrying without her person by her side.
Bridesmaid
Brittany and Jamie were suitemates in college, and through a mutual beef with Brittany's roommate (ask them about the Cheeto incident) they bonded. Their true friendship was forged through nights at the strip, terrible toga parties, and lying about being an Olympian. Following their ventures, they decided to live together again during college, and to this day Jamie has always been someone that Brittany can call to discuss the state of the world, or just to turn up. Brittany is so thankful that her days in Sally Hall (RIP) brought Jamie into her life, and she's so excited to share this special moment with her.
