Paris and Brittany's love story is one that began in a nature similar to all great love stories that preceded theirs, at a bar. While trying to meet their soon-to-be classmates on the first weekend of medical school orientation they met each other. Some say it was Brittany's passionate discussion of how Beyonce is the greatest performer of our generation (which is a fact), others say it was Paris's quiet charm, but that per-chance meeting sparked the beginning of a fire that would burn bright. They met in mid-June and by July 14th they were dating. As summer turned to fall, and their studies became more intense they found a love that served as the beacon in the duress that is medical school. Throughout the course of school, they supported each other, met their Meharry family, and found a mutual love of traveling. Planning their life together felt natural. Time continued to pass in a myriad of tests, hours at the hospital, and life milestones, but on March 14th, 2022 they underwent the next stage in their relationship. As medical school began to come to a close they began to prepare for their next major transition in their lives residency. Paris and Brittany took a trip to France, and while in Paris, Paris proposed and Brittany said yes! On March 18th they both matched into residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and moved to Dallas to begin their careers as doctors. When they aren't working long hours they can still be found planning their next trip, exploring new local restaurants, and hanging out with their puppy named Dallas. As they close one chapter and open a new one in their love story they are beyond ecstatic to share the next step of their journey with their family and loved ones. They chose each other on July 14th, Brittany said yes on March 14th, and on October 14th they will say I do.
