Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you can, but no later than the date noted on the invitation. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like (and don't forget to share them with us!).

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best semi-formal attire (tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses). Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself! For those of you who will be bringing your children, please be sure to watch them closely.

What is the weather like in northern Virginia in early May?

Answer

The temperature typically ranges from 51 degrees to 71 degrees. There’s also always a chance for a spring shower!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be parking at both the ceremony and reception.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Please reach out to the couple as soon as possible so this can be communicated to the catering team.
