Where is the wedding/reception?

D Spur's Ranch is in Gold Canyon, AZ. Everyone will most likely be staying West of the ranch. To get there you just have to get on the Interstate 60 headed East. Once you get into Gold Canyon, you will pass a grocery store (Bashas) and keep going, you'll also pass the Best Western Inn on the left hand side. The next light will be Peralta Trails. Turn left. You will continue down Peralta Trails to a dirt road. Roughly 2 miles in you'll turn right into D Donnelly's D Spur Ranch. We will set something up to show you where to park in the ranch.

What's the weather like in AZ in October?

Daily temperatures fluctuate in between 86 and 92 degrees during the day and the low night temps can range between 62 and 67 degrees with low humidity. So bring a light jacket for night my midwest friends!

What is the Ranch like?

Answer

The wedding/reception is at a ranch in the desert. It is a working ranch with horses, bulls and burros. It is in the middle of the Superstition desert so wildlife is prevalent. Be advised, it will be a mostly dirt terrain.

Where can I stay?

There is a Best Western or the Gold Canyon Gold Resort than is within a few miles of the Ranch. Gold Canyon is a gorgeous little town that my mom and I lived in for years. If theres any further questions, we can work something out. We would love to see all our out of town fam!
