We've waited 1,099 days for this... Party Accordingly!

Brittany saw the most beautiful girl in the world (Jenna, duh) walking down the cereal aisle of a local Queens grocery store. She noticed Jenna went to reach for the Captain Crunch and knew she needed to step in. "You know that Captain Crunch ruins the roof of your mouth, right?" Jenna was struck by Britt's confidence and straight-forward attitude, they smiled at one another, had a laugh, and she knew she just had to ask her on a date. The rest is history. Okay... but really we met on OKCupid. You guys should really give online dating a shot! It works :) Jenna was about to delete the app when Britt reached out to ask her about her headline quote refering to her "love of the heart". The rest is real history. *Brittany did get the real life cereal aisle story in there eventually...

Our love story officially started at our favorite restaurant - RAR Bar - in Astoria. Our favorite chef kept the food coming while we kept the conversation going and wine flowing into the night. We went back to RAR every Valentines Day. Jenna kept the love story going by proposing to Brittany right out front of their favorite spot. She had a driver pick up Britt from their apartment - and in the car there was a video montage (Jenna's specialty) playing as he drove Britt to "where their love story began". Once she arrived, Jenna was down on one knee outside of the restaurant - and when they went inside our entire family was there waiting to celebrate and toast to our love!

We moved into our first apartment together in May 2015. Sunnyside is truly the best neighborhood - "the last hidden gem in Queens" some might say. We have the most wonderful neighbors, play volleyball down the street, and the bartenders know our name. It's our home <3

Once Jenna proposed, it was time for Brittany to put a ring on that finger, too! Britt makes Jenna's lunch every night and writes cheesy love notes with a sharpie on every sandwich bag. She took those sandwich bags that were saved, strung them together and headed to othe local grocery store. Laid out on the floor were the lunch bags down the cereal aisle, with a banner strung across the top that said "Will you marry me, too?", with the help of Britt’s MOH, Maggie, (who somehow convinced Jenna to get to the grocery store and turn down that cereal aisle). She turned the corner, and with strangers recording everything, Brittany got down on one knee while shouting - "YOU'RE THE CAPTAIN TO MY CRUNCH!", "You're Special, K?" and "Even though you drive me GRAPE NUTS, will you marry me, too?!"
