FAQs (please read)

If there was something not covered under this section that you have a question about, text us and we will update it!
Question

What do I wear?

Answer

The bride and groom request you show up in black tie attire. Black tie attire consists of the following: For ladies: A knee- to floor-length dress (black is classic, but other colors are welcome) or in palazzo pants (google it). Pantsuits and jumpsuits are also welcomed as well. No jeans or T-shirts. For men: a black suit accompanied with a formal white button up shirt and black tie (bowtie usually, but regular ties are welcomed too) with black dress shoes. Other suit colors are welcome as well as long as it is formal attire. Military dress attire is welcome if preferred. No jeans or T-shirts. We request that everyone wear modest attire.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are more than happy to allow you to bring a plus one to the ceremony! If you received an invitation to the reception, we request that only those named on the envelope come to the reception (there is limited seating).

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We would love to have your children able to celebrate our special day with us! We only request that if your child begins to become agitated/noisy during the ceremony, please excuse yourself and the child into the foyer.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a brief occasion during the ceremony where guests will be allowed to take photos, but it will be only during this specific moment when the officiant notifies the audience. Otherwise, please silence and leave your cellphones in your pocket/purse (seriously, we don't want to see you leaning into the aisle during the ceremony after that brief moment has ended). We will have a professional photographer on site to document the special day where you can see more photos at a later date.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Light refreshments will be provided at the reception.

Question

Can I get a gift for the couple?

Answer

While we are extremely appreciative of anything you choose to give (whether it be material goods, prayers, or sharing our special day with us), we decided to create a cash fund for our tiny home instead of creating a wedding registry. Go to the registry tab and there you are able to donate. If you prefer to buy us a material gift, we are registered at Walmart under “Parish Wedding Registry”.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

Due to limited seating, reception is by invitation only. If you received an invitation to the reception, location details will be included. Please be sure to RSVP for the reception so there is an accurate count for food.
