We're getting married!

Although we both attended UMass Amherst, and lived roughly 1584 feet away from each other for three years, it would take a mutual friend - Kimberly Anne Moriarty - to bring us together on Hilary's 22 birthday.

If you haven't yet heard the story, it's a good one! Brian enlisted friend / photographer Mila Lowe to help pull off the surprise -- Mila reached out to see if Brian and Hilary would be interested in being models in an upcoming photo shoot. Of course we said yes (Brian's enthusiasm should have been the first sign something was up)! When we arrived for the "shoot" at Middletown Nursery, there was a table full of flowers, a fountain, a romantic little bridge, and a row of beautiful dresses for Hilary to try on. After the second costume change, while Hilary practiced her model face, Brian snuck behind her with the ring and bouquet in hand and bent the knee. The photo shoot became our engagement shoot!
