Jordyn and I met in undergrad at ISU through different school events. During that time we grew closer and closer as friends. Mostly, because we are VERY opinionated people and would gossip or argue a lot. From working at band events to living together our final year in Normal, I could not ask for such an amazing friend. I am so excited for our future coffee and gossip adventures. Thank you for being my voice of reason and my bestie!! I cannot wait for your special day, you and Sean are purrrfect together (get it, you crazy cat lady)

I was lucky enough to meet Jordyn during our freshman year of college at ISU. Not only was I attracted to Jordyn’s friendship because she was a funny, intelligent woman, but because she was a link to home. Growing up 15 minutes apart, we realized we had many experiences in common and never failed to share those stories. Though we have always been connected, our friendship really blossomed when we discovered our boyfriends were in a bromance. I have never met a power couple as strong as Sean and Jordyn and I am so lucky to have a friend (and SAI sister),like Jordyn, who never fails to make a moment better! Wishing you both nothing but laughter, happiness, and cats!

Sean and I met when we were GA's on band staff at ISU. Our friendship started slow, as we are both shy around new people. I first added Sean to my phone contacts as “Sean GA” since I never actually asked for his last name. Once we started to talk, Sean and I quickly became best friends, due to our shared love of food, beer, and cigars. Soon, I was showing up to his apartment unannounced and he and Jordyn couldn’t get me out of there. Since Sean and Jordyn have moved to Virginia, Sean and I hangout virtually and can usually be found in a COD where Sean is team-killing me. In all seriousness, Sean is one of the best human beings I have ever met. He is a great friend, filled with so much humor, happiness, and compassion. I’m so excited and can’t wait to watch him and Jordyn tie the knot!

Jordyn and I met when we were undergraduates at ISU. During that time, we shared a LOT of great memories. From being in studio together, babysitting each other's fur babies (and between us wow there were a lot), and having impromptu food dates just to vent. I am so thankful our paths crossed. I was even lucky enough to have Jordyn stand in my wedding in October 2019. I am so thrilled for her and Sean and can't wait for their big day!

Kyle Remnant is a puzzle of a man; simultaneously brilliant yet foolish, endearingly kind yet full of douchebaggery, a connoisseur of progressive theology and devishly decadent beers. He was born in the rural Shenandoah Valley of VA, he is a soon-to-be a doctor in trombone, even though he now performs nowhere #terminaldegreeforthewin #thelifeofatrombonist. Aside from teaching and (not) performing music, Kyle fills his time hiking with his wife and dogs, working in youth ministry at his church, and reading and watching as much Marvel-related content as possible. Jordyn and I grew up in the same neighborhood and our paths and interests constantly crossed. I can pinpoint the exact moment that Jordyn and I became friends. We were making grilled cheese sandwiches in her hotel room at All State, and had for the a real conversation. We discovered that all those crossed paths, interests, and quarrels over boys had made us friends without even knowing it. After that, we just clicked. The prejudices vanished and we’ve been close friends since. I can only describe Jordyn as the fiercest person I have ever met. A fierce foe and an even fiercer friend. I know how fiercely she cares and protects the people she loves. I can’t wait to stand up with her while she makes a commitment to the person she loves most of all.

Sean and I met during the 2011 season of Blue Stars. I was completely new to everything and actually knew nothing about Drum Corps. Sean (and Dave) took me under their wing for the season. We instantly hit it off and were seat partners for the season. This is also of course when he taught me that the best state ever is Texas and that if anyone was going to have good bus snacks it was Sean. Grateful to have met Sean I am pumped to share the day with him and Jordyn! I live in Jacksonville Alabama with my wonderful wife Maegan and our dog Penelope where I am a band director at a local High School. Let's get these two married!

Jordyn was one of my first, if not the first friend I made at ISU. We texted all the time the summer before, and when school finally started, our friendship blossomed. She showed me the ways of college and continues to teach me about music, growing up, and overall life lessons. We share a love of Nintendo, music, and animals- she has even convinced me that cats aren’t so bad after all. I am so thankful to have a forever friend like her, someone so ready to listen, tell you what you need to hear, and make sure you see the good in yourself. Sean and her are both such wonderful people, and I am so glad that they have found each other. I could not be more excited for these two, and this day will always hold a special place in my heart!
